About Refuge: Refuge is a Bible verse application that provides King James Version (KJV) scripture based on emotions and feelings. Refuge is intended for personal, spiritual encouragement only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, pastoral counseling, or medical advice.
Free and Premium Access: Refuge offers both free and Premium tiers of access. Free users have access to a selection of emotions and corresponding Bible verses, and may see advertisements within the app. Premium users gain access to all emotions, the custom emotion input feature, and an ad-free experience. Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions & Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through your Apple or Google account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel your subscription, go to your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. All refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google.
Intellectual Property: All content within Refuge, including the app name, design, layout, and original written content, is the property of Refuge and protected by applicable copyright laws. Bible verses are from the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain.
Disclaimer of Warranties: Refuge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free from errors. Scripture references are provided for encouragement and should be verified against a physical Bible for accuracy.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Refuge and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
